How we make money
NZ Casino Bonuses ("we", "us", "this site") is an independent marketing affiliate for online casino operators. When you click a "Play Now," "Claim Bonus," or similar link on this site and go on to register — and in some cases deposit or play — at that casino, we may receive a commission from the operator.
These commissions typically take one of two forms:
- Cost-per-acquisition (CPA): a fixed fee paid to us for each new depositing player we refer.
- Revenue share: an ongoing percentage of the net revenue the operator earns from a player we referred, sometimes for the lifetime of that player's account.
We are not a licensed gambling operator. We do not accept deposits, hold player funds, process withdrawals, or operate any casino game. Every wager you place happens entirely on the operator's platform, under the operator's licence and terms.
Does that affect what gets ranked first?
It can create an incentive to, and that's exactly why we publish this page. In practice, ranking position on this site is determined by the criteria set out in our How We Rate methodology: licensing status, wagering-term fairness, payout data, game library, and customer support quality. What it doesn't cost you
Clicking our links and signing up costs you nothing extra. The commission is paid by the casino operator out of their own marketing budget — it is not added to your deposit, deducted from your winnings, or reflected in worse odds or terms than if you'd gone to the operator directly. In many cases, our links unlock a welcome offer that isn't available on the operator's homepage.
Editorial independence
Reviews, ratings, and guide content on this site are produced by our editorial team according to our published methodology. Casino operators do not see, approve, or edit review content before publication, and cannot pay to have a negative finding removed. When an operator's terms change for the worse after publication, we update the review and adjust the ranking — we do not wait for a renewal negotiation to do so.
Our relationships with operators
We work with individual casino operators and, in some cases, casino affiliate networks that represent multiple operators. Some casinos featured on this site may be part of the same parent group or share ownership, software, or licensing with other casinos also featured here; where we're aware of this, we disclose it in the individual review. As a concrete example: Bitkingz and Oshi Casino are both connected to Novatrix SRL — Bitkingz as its direct operator, and Oshi Casino jointly through Novatrix SRL alongside Dama N.V. We've noted this shared corporate link in both reviews rather than treating the two as fully unrelated operators.
Sponsored placements
From time to time we may publish clearly labelled sponsored content, banner placements, or featured slots that are paid for directly rather than earned through our standard ranking criteria.
